Ariana Grande Gets Emotional as Eternal Sunshine Tour Wraps in London

After 41 shows across three countries, Ariana Grande closed out her Eternal Sunshine Tour in London on Tuesday, with an emotional message to her fans.

The 41-show tour began in Oakland in June, moving through the U.S., Montreal, and finally, London for 10 nights.

Before the crowd at The O2, Grande became emotional as she reflected on the tour, telling fans, “This has been one of the most beautiful, extraordinary experiences of my life, and I just want to express my gratitude without sobbing completely.”

Grande also thanked her fans, adding, “It’s been so special, and I’ll cherish this experience always. I have the best fans in the entire world, and I always have.”

She went on to praise fans for their energy throughout the tour, singling out their outfits, handmade signs, and the effort they put into every show. Grande told the crowd she loved seeing them and connecting with them night after night, and thanked them for making the experience feel so personal.

The London stop marked the tour's finale after months on the road across three countries. Grande's remarks capped a run that had already included several emotional moments, including a surprise duet with her “Wicked” costar Cynthia Erivo earlier in the residency.

Now that her tour is over, Grande is expected to take a step back from public appearances, which her rep confirmed on August 2, stating she is “taking a much-deserved break from public-facing work and appearances, which has led to endless, ongoing public scrutiny.”

Looking ahead, Grande is set to appear in “Focker-in-Law,” the newest installment in the “Meet the Parents” franchise, alongside Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro. The film is slated to hit theaters on November 25.
