Tim McGraw's Cincinnati concert didn't go quite as planned. He arrived 40 minutes late, then took a hard fall onstage while performing one of his biggest hits, and then beat everyone else to the joke.

Tim McGraw took a nasty fall while performing on stage in Cincinnati. The country crooner was singing "I Like It, I Love It" when the heel of his boot got caught on the stage flooring, sending him on a backward fall.

The clip of the accident was shared by McGraw on his Instagram, along with other images from the show held at Riverbend Music Center on August 27.

Accompanying the clip, which he revealed in the 5th slide of the carousel, was a voiceover of McGraw saying, "Yup, that's me. You're probably wondering how I ended up in this situation."

McGraw also joked about the incident in his caption, writing, "Cincinnati, you started our weekend off on the right foot even if I couldn't stay on mine 😂," before adding, "We appreciate you coming out and singing along! Detroit, you're up!"

McGraw, 59, quickly got up from the floor still holding his microphone and managed to continue performing, though he reportedly did some stretching between songs.

But that wasn't the only setback that night. Reports reveal McGraw arrived 40 minutes late, starting his set at 9:40 p.m. instead of 9 p.m. He apologized to the crowd, blaming his late arrival on travel and weather issues.

Back in 2018, McGraw also stumbled on stage when he collapsed due to dehydration during the Country to Country Festival in Dublin. He also poked fun at the incident then, posting a photo of himself scuba diving and captioning it, "Hydrating."
